Experience - Willow Weaving Course: Green Willow Work

Learn how to construct and maintain willow arches and fedges (growing fences). This is an active course and due to its nature it is instructive rather than productive: you won′t be able to take a planted fedge home with you! Participants will need to bring a packed lunch.

  • At some point there will be a break am/pm and at lunchtime.

Clothing advice

Wear comfortable clothing, such as might be worn for gardening. This is an outdoor course so come armed with clothing to cover all eventualities.

Note: we will be working with and planting living willow so bark and soil may get onto clothing.

What′s provided

All materials, tea/coffee and homemade biscuits. Secateurs are available but you may wish to bring along your own. First aid kit available, please inform us of any specific medical requirements.
